Osijek

Osijek, on the River Drava, is the largest city in eastern Croatia. Of all cities in Croatia it's the greenest and has 17 parks all together. City has a wonderful, long promenade along the river. Main tourist attraction of Osijek is Trvda – Citadel. It is an eighteenth-century complex of cobbled streets, grandiose buildings and open squares - best-preserved ensemble of Baroque buildings anywhere in Croatia. Osijek is not considered to be one of Croatia's main tourist destinations, but is definitely worth visiting.
