Plitvice Lakes Tour

Hidden among the trees there is an area where the water never stops flowing and creating travertine barriers. This is an area of the National Park Plitvice Lakes is the oldest national park in Southeast Europe and the biggest one in Croatia established in 1949. It is also inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1979, but it’s phenomenon attracts it’s visitors much longer. This is an opportunity for you to dive into a special nature area of the 16 lakes which are all connected with each other through numerous waterfalls and barriers of different sizes and appearance. Walking pathways will take you directly past the water so you can stop any moment taking pictures or trying to remember which lake you have seen in the famous movie about the Indian Winnetou (movie “The treasure of the Silver Lake”). Your walking tour of the Plitvice will be accompanied by fish, birds and the sound of water.
