Montenegro Tour

A wild land where mountains drop straight into the sea and delightful towns such as Kotor, Budva and Montenegro’s jewel, Sveti Stefan, cling to the coastline on the route south from the border with Croatia. The border of Montenegro is only about 40 km away from Dubrovnik. In Montenegro we drive along the main coastal road through many small fisher villages.

Our first stop will be a viewpoint, before the town Perast, to the Kotor bay and the two gorgeous small islands in middle of the bay. On a small nature island, ca. 2 800 m2 large, the church of the Saint Donat „Sanctus Georgius de Gulfo“ from the IX. Century is situated. The second island is about 115 m away and is the result of the enduring efforts of generations of mariners “… to leave there, in the very heart of the Bay of Kotor - Risan, a testimony of their Christian faith and culture…” We will visit these two islands by a boat drive. After we have admired the beautiful nature, we will drive to Kotor where we will make a stop of around 1 hour. If you like to, you can take a coffee, some other drink or lunch in one of the numerous bars and restaurants inside the old town of Kotor. The old town of Kotor is a well obtained centre from the Middle Ages, built between the 12th and the 14th century, with many Latin and Gothic churches, facades, palaces and museums. Enjoy the beauties and the historical-cultural richness of this town before we drive further on to Budva town, where we will spend around 3 hours. Budva is the main touristic destination in Montenegro during the summer with beautiful beaches.

We offer private tours with private English speaking guide.
